Did you know that every 18 seconds a child becomes an orphan?
At the same time, Americans spend:
$19, 977 on coffee
$46, 804 on clothing
$9,132 on bottled water
$28, 539 on diet products (that don't work)
$9,703 on pet food
I don't know about you, but this is disturbing to me.
It's time we did something.

Amazing, heartbreaking statistics! I was just telling the girls this morning about how sad it makes me, that my own mother is shelling out a couple grand to keep one of her cats alive..while that money could be feeding serveral homeless (humans). This all definetly makes us want to simplify our lives in such a storng way, so that we will have much funds to offer the needy.
Those stats always leave me astounded...
